Tim Elliott is Director, Coaching & Facilitation with Forrest & Company Limited.

An effective coach and facilitator, Tim draws on his extensive leadership experience in a variety of sectors. He specializes in career counselling, vocational guidance programs, board facilitation, executive coaching, strategic and operational reviews and partnership development. He is the author of the Forrest StoryMaker™ program, through which leaders can achieve goals faster by inspiring, engaging and aligning their team with a clearly articulated vision.

Tim is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach through the Coaches Training institute. He also holds certifications with the Stillpoint Institute of Process Facilitation, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and is a licensed consultant with Birkman International. Before joining Forrest, Tim taught communications courses to General Motors executives, and coordinated external communications for Imperial Oil Limited.

In addition to his corporate, non-profit and community experience, Tim has worked in the journalism sector as a news editor, broadcast director, broadcaster, host and producer. He also spent 25 years in parish ministry with the Anglican Church of Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Huron College University, London, Ontario, a Master of Divinity from the General Theological Seminary, New York, New York; and a Doctor of Ministry from Trinity College at the University of Toronto.

Tim is actively involved in the community, and has participated as a board member and as chair of various committees, including capital campaigns. He is a founding director of Hospice King in King City, Ontario.  Tim is an accomplished pianist and has performed his unique musical program, Jazz for Life: A Path to Balance, for conferences and congregations. He has released a solo piano CD, All the Things You Are, and is the author of Clarity and Courage: Life as an Improvised Journey.
